Teresa Millican, a self-taught artist from Coos Bay, Oregon, began her art journey in Kansas City, inspired by her mother. As a child, she enjoyed playdough, crayons, markers, and various paints. In her teenage years, she explored acrylics, charcoal, ink, pottery, and watercolors. Since moving to Coos Bay in 1991, Teresa has expanded her creativity to include acrylic, watercolor, and gouache on paper crafts, prints, calendars, cards, canvases, and wood. Inspired by nature, her work as an oncology nurse, and color theory, she aims to evoke joy, tranquility, and happiness through her art.
